Dr. Charles Liott, D.C., D.A.C.A.N.
Dr. Liott is a Chiropractic Physician who began his practice in Sarasota, Florida in 1982. Following an extensive externship in the Palmer Diagnostic Center with additional training in Radiology and Physical therapy, Dr. Liott has attained years of experience in private practice.
He has dealt extensively with head, back and neck injuries. He completed a three year postgraduate neurology course and is a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist.

Dr. Alfred O. Smith, D.C.
A Chiropractic Physician with Liott Back and Neck Care Center, Dr. Smith graduated valedictorian from Palmer College of Chiropractic where he participated in the X-ray extern program and received additional training in the fields of Radiology, Physical Therapy, and Chiropractic Techniques.
Dr. Smith has been involved in the practice of Chiropractic since 1979. In 1980 he founded Chiropractic Associates of Ashland, in Ashland, Ohio.
Since graduation, Dr. Smith has completed a course of Postgraduate educational training in the field of Chiropractic Neurology, and has had extensive continuing education in Physical and Radiological Diagnostics as well as low back and disc diagnosis and treatment procedures. Dr. Smith has also continued his education in the field of nutrition, including herbal, preventative health care and life extension therapies.

Denise Yakich, Chiropractic Assistant
Denise has been a Chiropractic Assistant since 2008. She was welcomed to Liott Back & Neck Care Center in 2020. She takes pride in her work and takes the time to make sure each patient knows how special they are to her. She will do her best to put a smile on your face.
Denise moved to Bradenton, Florida in 1982 from Cleveland, Ohio. Denise has two loving children and two adorable fur babies. Denise and her kids enjoy volunteering in the community, doing puzzles, and taking the dogs on road trips.
PHYSICAL THERAPISTS
Carl Hayes – Fitness Therapist
You can always spot Carl by his great smile. Carl studied Physical Education and Sports Management at West Virginia University. He has been with Liott Back & Neck Care Center for over 15 years and in the industry for over 25 years. Carl received his Fitness Therapy Certification and is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA).
Carl specializes in strength training, flexibility and range of motion. He has also served as the Director of Fitness for the YMCA, Evalyn Sadlier Jones Branch and head football coach for Youth Football FYD. Carl loves seeing the improvement therapy makes for his clients and helping people get back into the game of life.
Catrina Liott – Fitness Therapist
Catrina graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science in Health Education and Behavior from the University of Florida.
She earned her Personal Training certification and her Fitness Therapy certification through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA). She is also a certified Wellness Coach through the National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA) and received Pilates Reformer training through Balance Body Pilates.
Catrina She specializes in functional fitness, stretching and mobility, and exercises for alignment and postural support. She enjoys working closely with people to achieve healthy lifestyle changes in ways in which they can connect with and make a joyous experience.
Growing up, Catrina was inspired by her father’s holistic approach to health and his dedication to helping others. She grew up learning to respect the mind and body connection. She loves being active outdoors, photography, and spending time with her family.
Roza Bulba – Physical Therapy Assistant
Originally from the Ukraine, Roza graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science in Health Science from Lee University in Cleveland, TN.
After moving to Florida, she worked in home health and attended the State College of Florida where she earned her Associate of Science and graduated as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2018.
Roza joined the Liott Back & Neck Care Center team in June of 2020 where she enjoys working with patients and assisting them with their therapy treatments. Outside of work, Roza likes the outdoors and sings in a music band at her church.
MASSAGE THERAPISTS
Julie Morneault, LMT | Licensed Massage Therapist – MA-45679
Julie, originally from Maine, graduated from the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy in December of 2002 and started working at the Liott Back and Neck Care Center in 2006. Julie specializes in deep tissue, trigger point therapy, Swedish Massage and general therapeutic work. The satisfaction she gets from seeing her clients’ improved quality of life after massage therapy brings her joy.
ADMINISTRATIVE
Marian Miller
“I love the staff at Dr. Liott’s office and getting to know each patient. I like the feeling of knowing I am part of the team helping our patients get the relief and healing they need.”
Marian moved to Sarasota in July 2016 from Lewisburg, PA with her husband of 16 years and her three boys.
Before she came to work at Liott Back & Neck Care center, Marian was a patient herself. After being in an accident, Dr. Liott was able to help her recover from her injuries and pain through chiropractic.
In her free time, you can find Marian kayaking, hiking, camping looking for sharks teeth at Caspersen Beach with her family. She also enjoys running and going to the gym. She loves the warm sunny days in Florida and that she no longer has to deal with the bitter cold snowy winters of PA!
Donna DeTeresa
Donna Moved to Sarasota from the Big Apple back in 1994. She started her career in the medical field as a medical assistant/phlebotomist received her business degree and worked in sales for many years being back in the medical field she feels at home.
Married for 32 years she has two girls, a 29 year old Professional chef and a 30 year-old graduate of literature who has blessed her with two wonderful grandchildren.
In her free time she loves spending time with family, cooking, reading, decorating, shopping and going to the beach to watch the sunset.
Doris Heckman – Bookkeeper
Doris has been in the chiropractic industry over 20 years and has over 60 years of accounting experience. She’s always enjoyed working with figures, which led her to working for a General Motors Dealership and a CPA firm while living in Ohio. After moving to Florida, Doris worked in the travel business for a few years before joining Liott Back and Neck Care Center. She enjoys knowing that her work helps keep the center running smoothly which ultimately benefits the patients. In her spare time, Doris loves to travel and do lots of geneaology research.
Deborah Beauchamp – Billing Clerk
Deborah has been with Liott Back and Neck Care Center for over 14 year. She always likes a challenge, enjoys helping patients get the treatment they need. “I couldn’t ask for a better Doctor or group of people to work with!”
