Appointments

After setting an appointment and arriving for your first visit, you'll enjoy the friendly staff and vibrant atmosphere. After completing some simple paperwork to help the doctor understand the history of your health, you'll meet the doctor.

A thorough examination usually follows. Your reflexes may be tested, your ability to turn and bend, and other standard orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic tests will be conducted. If necessary, X-ray views of your spine may be taken.

The doctors will then study the results of these examinations and explain what they mean. Then, he will recommend a care program designed for your unique health problem.

With a complete understanding of your condition, you're ready for your chiropractic adjustment. Adjustments help restore proper spinal and nervous system function, promoting the healing process. Continued visits help retrain the supporting muscles and ligaments of your spine. Periodic examinations will monitor your progress.

Dr. Liott is a Chiropractic Physician who began his practice in Sarasota, Florida in 1981.
Following an extensive externship in the Palmer Diagnostic Center and additional training in Radiology and Physical therapy. Dr. Liott has attained years of experience in private practice. He has dealt extensively with head, back and neck injuries. Dr. Liott gives various special back classes in the are and has designed a problem back exercise program that is taught at local fitness centers. He completed a three year postgraduate neurology course and is a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist.

Alfred O. Smith, D.C.

A Chiropractic Physician with Liott Back and Neck Care Center, Dr. Smith graduated valedictorian from Palmer College of Chiropractic where he participated in the X-ray extern program and received additional training in the fields of Radiology, Physical Therapy, and Chiropractic Techniques. .Dr. Smith has been involved in the practice of Chiropractic since 1979. In 1980 he founded Chiropractic Associates of Ashland, in Ashland, Ohio. Since graduation, Dr. Smith has completed a course of Postgraduate educational training in the field of Chiropractic Neurology, and has had extensive continuing education in Physical and Radiological Diagnostics as well as low back and disc diagnosis and treatment procedures. Dr. Smith has also continued his education in the field of nutrition, including herbal, preventative health care and life extension therapies.
